Charger Challenge
2026 — Draper, UT/US
Princeton Extemp
Event Description:
Princeton Extemp
Think you know extemp? Think again.
Princeton Extemp follows the same format as traditional Extemporaneous Speaking — draw a question, take 30 minutes to prep, deliver a 7-minute speech — but leave the policy briefs at home.
Topics are lighthearted, unpredictable, and deliberately off the beaten path: pop culture, music, the entertainment industry, reality TV drama, and the kind of current events your extemp file never saw coming.
Your wit, creativity, and ability to think on your feet matter more than your file box here. The best Princeton Extempers aren’t just informed — they’re entertaining.
Sourcing: Students may cite social media posts, X (formerly Twitter), and other topical news sites as evidence.
