Async Sketch Comedy

Event Description:

Sketch Comedy (1 to 4 students in this event)

Sketch Comedy is for teams between 1-4 students. The use of Props/Costumes/Chairs/Desks/Music (etc.) is allowed and encouraged. Movement and/or blocking are also strongly encouraged.

The sketch being presented can be an original idea of the team, or something taken from another source (such as spoofs, tik tok, Saturday Night Live, ect). Props, costumes, music, and anything else necessary can be allowed, as long as it is in good taste.

Catchy jingles or phrases are encouraged. Judging will be based on originality, persuasiveness, creativity with props and costumes, vocal/facial/body expression, and use of space by the whole team.

The sketch, props, and costumes should be done in good taste and appropriate for a high school environment. Time limit is 10 minutes maximum.
