Tournament Information

Welcome to the 2026 Rosebowl Debate Tournament! We are excited to host you for a great day of competition. We are having a "Get Up and Go" theme again this year, so wear your most comfy clothes, sweats, pajama pants, or whatever else makes you feel cozy!

Events:
Lincoln Douglas: Resolved: De-extinction is unethical.
Public Forum: Resolved: European members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization should ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
Student Congress: Packet uploaded to documents.

Schedule:

In-Person check in starts at 7:45 am and a quick judge meeting will take place at 8:15 am.

Round 1/Session 1 starts at 8:45 am.

Debate Schedule (subject to change if we go faster or run into issues)
Round 1: 8:45 am
Round 2: 9:45 am
Round 3: 11 am

Round 4: 12:45 pm
Round 5: 2:30 pm
Finals: 4:00 pm

Congress Schedule (subject to change if we go faster or run into issues)
Session 1: 8:45-11 am (take breaks as needed)
-Lunch-
Session 2: 11:45-2 pm (take breaks as needed)
Final Session: 2:45-4:45

We aim to be all finished by 5:30 pm because we have a musical performance in the evening (feel free to stay and watch Mean Girls).

You can also email robyn.madson@isd623.org before the day of the tournament, or text me at 651-331-9570 on the day of the tournament. It would be wonderful if you could check in once you know you have all of your debaters and judges on the way!
