The Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League invites you to our
2026-2027 Varsity Online Scrimmage!

This tournament is for Varsity competitors only and will be held ONLINE via Zoom.

Judge's Room: Zoom lounge between rounds
Zoom Link: Will be emailed to coaches and judges the week of the tournament

Before making your request, please let us know these details:
1) Your Division, Building and Room Number
2) Your Role in the Debate: Judge, Debater, Coach, Observer. Please include your school affiliation.

This will help us identify you and solutions to your issues much faster. Once you've provided this identifying information, let us know your issue or question. If the issue is about a missing debater or judge, please include their name (and School if applicable).

Judging At This Tournament:
1) You must make a Tabroom.com account to participate, receive tournament notifications, and view/submit your ballot. Your Tabroom page must have a paradigm that's been updated for the current debate season.
2) You must have a Zoom account to view and judge debate rounds.
3) Take a look at our modified judge training/resources if you haven't judged recently.

Judges should be comfortable judging Varsity level Policy debates where students might spread, use theory arguments, or employ other highly competitive strategies and jargon. LAMDL Alumni that are in their First Year Out of graduation are welcome to spectate the tournament, but will not be accepted as judges for this tournament. Please instead sign up for our Season Opener at Huntington Park HS October 8-9, 2026.
