Please join us at Council Rock North HS in Newtown, PA for the Bucks County Invitational, brought to you by Jim Briski (and the usual Philadelphia-area tab folks). Offering UK-TOC bids in Speech events (level determined by entry numbers).

Rounds begin at 8:30am with awards at 7pm. We will run 4 rounds of PF and LD, breaking to Semis (or Quarters if we can fit it); 3 rounds of Policy, breaking to a Final; 3 rounds of Speech, breaking to a Final; 2 sessions of Congress, breaking to a Final. We are hoping to have awards start at 7pm with final schedule to come later.

Speech competitors are invited to enter up to three events, but max 2 in either bracket (Extempers can enter one event in Bracket A only):

- Bracket A: VDP, NDP, VOI, Prose, VOO, NOO, Impromptu
- Bracket B: DEC, VDUO, NDUO, VEX, NEX, Poetry, Info, POI

Novice divisions are open to students in middle school, 9th grade, or their first year of competition (but no seniors). JV, which is for Policy only, also includes relatively inexperienced 10th graders.

Students must attend the school with which they are registered and must travel with a responsible adult. A “school” is a degree-granting institution. Independent, club, and hybrid entries are not permitted. Any entries found to be in violation of these rules will be disqualified immediately at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

- We will single-flight debate rounds, so judge burden is 1 judge for every 2entries, rounding up. 1 judge for every 5 combined Speech and Congress entries, rounding up. Please note judges who are able to serve as Parliamentarian. We will endeavor to supply hired judging, but it will be limited if available at all.
