Registration Party!

Friends don’t let friends register alone! Roll initiative, and kick off TFA State together.

Instead of our traditional Wednesday registration this year, we’re excited to try something new and a lot more fun.

This season has felt a little like a great campaign: long days, clutch saves, teamwork under pressure, and plenty of moments where the whole party showed up for one another. To celebrate everything our community has accomplished, Wednesday registration will take place as a TFA State Registration Party at Main Event Frisco. Tournament registration will be available from 5:00–8:00 PM, and party activities will continue through 9:00 PM.

While you can certainly still just check in and head out, we encourage you to stay, roll some dice (or bowling balls), and hang out with the rest of the party. Think less “formal registration line” and more “friends around the table after a long campaign.”

What’s Included

We’ve booked a four-hour party package, and each participant will receive:

• A wristband for unlimited activities (bowling, laser tag, billiards, and rope course)

• A $10 arcade card (earns points toward prizes and can be reloaded at the participant’s expense)

• Two slices of pizza and a soda (because every good party needs snacks)

Cost: $25 per person

How to Register

We’ve added a non-competing event on Tabroom to collect RSVPs. You’ll notice the entry fee is listed as $0. This is intentional because we know some schools cannot include this type of charge on the tournament invoice.

Once registered, you may pay in any of the following ways:

1. Credit card via the finance portal: https://tfa-finance-portal.cheddarup.com

2. Bring payment to registration (it may be a separate form of payment from your school fees)

3. Email president@texasforensicassociation.com and treasurer@texasforensicassociation.com to request that the total be added to your invoice. We’re happy to make that adjustment

Important Deadlines & Policies

• February 24 is the deadline to set your entries for the Registration Party (and all other events).

• After February 24, we will try to accommodate additions, but availability is at Main Event’s discretion.

• If you need to drop after the deadline, no drop fee will be assessed, but you will still be responsible for the $25 participant fee.

• If the party fee is not paid, it will be added as a $25 per person fine to your TFA State fees.

We hope this feels less like checking boxes and more like celebrating the party you’ve been adventuring with all year. Grab your team, and let’s kick off State together. No Demogorgons, just good vibes.
