TFA State 2026
2026 — Prosper, TX/US
Honor Crew Nomination
The Honor Crew is TFA’s version of The Party. These are the students who build the world (setup and cleanup), keep the plot from derailing (checking rooms and helping the tournament stay on schedule), and repeatedly save TFA from the Upside Down (all the critical behind-the-scenes tasks that require brave volunteers and a walkie-talkie). Honor Crew is a prestigious and fun way to recognize students who contribute to their team’s success and positive vibes, even if they didn’t roll a natural 12 and earn the points required to qualify for State.
Because this tournament spans multiple sites, Honor Crew members will be scheduled in shifts; no one will be trapped in a three-day endurance test that would make Hopper concerned. Ideally, students will work at least one daytime shift at UNT Frisco, one afternoon/evening shift at Rock Hill or Jones Middle School, and all day Saturday(think: final boss level). Please indicate your availability on this form. Before submitting, students must coordinate with their coaches to confirm transportation between sites. An accurate availability grid is essential—we’re planning this like a campaign, not a solo side quest.
This shift structure means we need more Honor Crew than usual. So apply. Recruit your friends. Build the Party. The Upside Down does not defeat itself.
Finally, Honor Crew members are expected to stay through Awards, regardless of how their team performs competitively. Leaving early on Saturday has caused issues in the past, and we truly need the full Party present to close the gate, defeat the Demogorgon, and finish the tournament strong.
