ENTRY FORMS:

  1. In order to expedite the tournament process, entry will be required onwww.tabroom.com. If coaches do not have an account with www.tabroom.com, they will need to create one in order to register for the tournament. COACHES/

JUDGES:

All schools will be required to provide the amount of judges expected on Tabroom. A coach is acceptable as that judge. The name of the judge(s) should be registered on www.tabroom.com by the registration date. Judges MUST be registered on tabroom.com with an account.


A brief coaches/judges meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. on the morning of the competition. Judging, rules, and overall schedule/operation of the tournament will be covered at this time including additional information not available at the time of mailing of welcome packages. Judges will be provided lunch and access to a hospitality room. BRING A LAPTOP TO COMPLETE BALLOTS ON.

COMPETITION ORDER:

Pairings will be created ahead of time through tabroom and will be posted before Round 1.

SCORING

FORMAT:

Master Sweeps per VHSL rules. 1st=5 pts, 2nd=3 pts, 3rd=1 pt.

AWARDS:

The top team will be announced and will receive a trophy. The top three competitors from each category will be announced. Medals will be awarded to each of the three winners from each category. 4th place students in events will be an official VHSL alternate.

TO STATES

The top three students in all events will advance to the state championship to be held on March 28 at Salem High School, Salem, Va.
