Public Forum: "Resolved: The People’s Republic of China should substantially reduce its international extraction of natural resources."
Lincoln Douglas: "Resolved: The possession of nuclear weapons is immoral."
Championship Debate will be using the March topics to help prepare for the OSSAA Regional Tournament and the NSDA District Tournament.
Public Forum: "Resolved: The United States federal government should ban corporate acquisition of single-family residences."
Lincoln-Douglas: "Resolved: The United States military ought to abide by the principle of non-intervention."

Entry
Entries should be made through Tabroom.com. Entries are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday February 18. Drops, adds and changes made after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18th can incur nuisance fees.

5A, 6A, CHAMPS and Novice.
Deadlines

Event Entries are due by 5:00PM Wednesday, February 18th(This is later due to many schools being out Monday for President's Day)

Changes are due by 5:00PM Thursday, February 19th. (After this, contact the director).

Judge Entries are due by 5:00PM Wednesday, February 18th.
Rules

We will be following the rules set forth in the 25-26 OSSAA Speech/Debate Manual
Fees
-
Entry fees are:
-
$10 per team debate entry
-
$5 per Lincoln Douglas entry
-
$8 per Duet or Duo entry
-
$4 each for all other entries.

Please refer to the OSSAA manual for nuisance fees.
Judges
-
All debate judges should be entered in the appropriate judge group (CX or LD/PF) even if they are also available to judge speech.

Please make sure every judge has an accurate phone number

When entering judges, you may specify what times they are available

Judge requirements are as per the OSSAA manual are:

1 judge per 2 CX entries or portion thereof
-
1 judge per 4 LD/PF entries or portion thereof
-
1 judge per 12 speech/acting entries or portion thereof.
