Dear Coaches and Competitors,

We are thrilled to invite you to the 2026 Sioux Falls Roosevelt Sweetstakes which will be held at Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School on February 6th-7th!

This year we are offering SIX preliminary rounds of debate in LD & PF and FOUR in CX with all winning records clearing (amount of elimination rounds subject to entries)

THREE preliminary rounds of speech (HI, DUO, POI, OO, INFO, and DI) will be offered on Saturday! We will attempt to break to a semi final round but may only break to a final in certain events based on entries.

YOU MAY ONLY ENTER STUDENTS IN DEBATE EVENTS OR SPEECH EVENTS NOT BOTH!!!

Once again in PF we are a UK TOC Silver bid at Semis and a Gold Bid at Finals!

WE ARE ALSO A TOC BID TOURNAMENT IN ALL SPEECH EVENTS!!!(bid allocation subject to entries)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS YEAR:

1. We will be doing judge preferences in all debate events

2. Everything will be online (postings, ballots, etc). This is to ensure the tournament runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Meaning that ALL judges and competitors will be required to have linked Tabroom accounts. Please reach out if you have questions or need any assistance on this

3. Coin flips for PF will be online

4. Judging obligations in all debate events are on a per round instead of a per entry basis

5. A limited number of hired judging is available in all events! Please get those hired requests in ASAP!!!

6. Brackets will not be broken in all debate events. Plan for this accordingly.
