Hello all!

We’d love to invite y’all to the Bluebonnet Classic at Claudia Taylor Johnson in San Antonio on January 23-24! This tournament will be a qualifying tournament for the Texas Forensics Association’s State tournament and will thus follow all rules associated with that organization. We look forward to seeing y’all come down for fun and friendly competition!

Our tournament will offer four preliminary rounds of competition in Policy and LD, three preliminary rounds in WSD, two guaranteed preliminary rounds in all TFA division individual events, and one preliminary round in Congress.

Congressional Debaters and World School debaters may cross-enter in either extemp or pattern A speech events, no other debate event may cross enter.

CX Debaters will be debating the 2025-2026 Resolution -Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly increase its exploration and/or development of the Arctic.

LD Debaters will be debating the NSDA Jan/Feb Resolution -Resolved: The possession of nuclear weapons is immoral.

PF Debaters will be debating the NSDA Jan Resolution - Resolved: The People’s Republic of China should substantially reduce its international extraction of natural resources.

WSD r1: This House regrets the narrative of green capitalism as a response to climate change.

WSD r2: This House supports the use of de-extinction technology.

WSD r3: Impromptu

WSD Semis: This House believes that the African Union should prioritize strengthening regional alliances as opposed to continental unification.

WSD Finals : Impromptu
