Entry Qualifications

GFCA Member Schools may enter up to eight entries in Congress at the Varsity Speech & Debate State Championship. Schools can enter more students on a waitlist and we will allow them based on overall numbers. Due to the supplemental nature of this event there is no entry qualification rule.

Judge Qualifications

In order to be eligible to judgeStudent Congressat the Varsity Speech & Debate State Championship, individuals must have completed requisite NSDA Judge Accreditation modules as determined by the Executive Committee by the start of the State Championship.

Cancelation Notice

The event must have at least 24 students from 4 schools in order to happen.

Schedule

9:00AM — Registration

9:30AM — Round 1

11:15AM — Round 2

1:00PM — Lunch in the US Cafeteria

2:00PM — Finals

4:30PM — Awards Ceremony
