Dear UIL Coordinators, Coaches, and Sponsors,

We would like to invite you to our 19^th annual Team Rike Memorial Spring Invitational Meet on Saturday, February 14, 2026. This will be an IN PERSON full academic, speech and debate meet using theUIL Set Bmaterials for all events and ASW for Spelling.

Sweepstakes will be awarded to the top three schools. We will award medals for first through sixth place as well as team awards for first place in team events including speech and journalism. If there are enough schools in the event, we will split between large and small schools.

Please register athttp://cantonspring.tabroom.com. Registration deadline is Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. You may change names after this date but all drops made after registration closes will result in the loss of entry fee for academic events. Speech drops MUST be emailed to acoppedge@cantonisd.com by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12th. Failure to do so will result in a fee of twice the value of the original entry fee.

A hospitality room for coaches, sponsors, and drivers will be provided as well as a concession stand for students.

As always, a portion of our meet revenue goes to the Team Rike Memorial Fund which continues to support academic, speech, and debate students and their education. We hope that you will join us in February, and we’ll keep our fingers crossed for a snow-free, tornado-free, and COVID free meet!
