Asia Worlds Championship Series I

Dear Coaches and Competitors,

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Asia Worlds Championship Series, hosted by TOC Asia! We will be offering competition in World Schools Debate (WSDC), Junior World Schools Debate (JWSDC), and Persuasive Speaking.

The Asia Worlds Championship Series (AWCS) is a great opportunity for students to gain experience in the World Schools format of debate as well as Persuasive Speaking in the WIDPSC style. We believe that speech and debate is a global good and that opportunities for students to learn and grow in international styles is important to our success in a globalized world.

The AWCS schedule will offer a consistent opportunity for students to compete in a tournament with a consistent style and system in the World Schools style, as well as speaking in the WIDPSC style. With three tournaments in the fall semester and more coming in the spring, AWCS hopes to set up an opportunity for students around the world to compete in one of the most competitive debate regions in the world, truly taking debate From Asia to the World.
