8:00AM: Check-in and caucusing

8:30AM-11:30PM: Round One House and Senate

12:30PM-3:30PM: Round Two Senate and House Finals

4:00PM- Awards

Judges:

All registered schools need to recruit unaffiliated judges and/or parliamentarians. All judges

must be linked in Tabroom and added to the judging pool in Tabroom. Schools are required to supply

one judge for every 10 entries. CCPS students will be allowed to compete and place.

Registration:

Deadline: Wednesday, October 22, at 4:00 pm.

There will be House and Senate divisions. No entry limit. House is for students in their 1st or 2nd year of speech and debate. Senate is for students in their 2nd year or beyond.

Note: if either of these divisions has fewer than 15 participants, or if either of these divisions has

representation from fewer than three schools, the divisions will collapse into a single division.

Fees:

$10.00 entry fee per student.

If a student drops from the tournament, they will be charged $10.00

Legislation:

Submit legislation to Bill Torres at bill.torres@cottonwoodclassical.org

Deadline to submit: Wednesday Ocotber 15th at 5:00 pm.

Docket will be emailed to schools by Friday, October 17th.

Maximum submission: Two pieces of legislation per school. Frivolous or poorly formatted legislation will be refused.
