Dear Colleagues:

Bettendorf is proud to announce the Bulldog Invitational to be held on Friday, November 14^th– Saturday, November 15^th, 2025. Bettendorf High School has proudly been supporting a Speech and Debate Team since 1968 and your continued support makes this program possible.

Our tournament will offer a full range of Speech and Debate events. For Speech, we plan on offering a 1-day setup on Saturday, November 15^th for all NSDA speech events. The Bulldog Invitational has registered with the Tournament of Champions (University of Kentucky) and will offer bids to the ToC for all events that meet the entry requirements. Last season, the Bulldog was able to award bids in Extemp, HI, Info, and OO. This season, we are looking to grow our speech fields and offer UK ToC bids in all ToC bid events.

For Debate, we plan on offering Novice and Varsity divisions of Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Policy Debate, and Public Forum Debate. Debate events will have rounds on both Friday and Saturday. Finally, with Congress growing considerably last year, we will offer Friday/Saturday preliminary sessions followed by a final Super Session. We are hard at work to make this tournament the best we possibly can and would appreciate you registering early so we can plan accordingly.
