Dallas, Texas 75244
Greetings from Dallas Jesuit! Jesuit will host TFA tournament on September 26-27. We will host Varsity CX, Varsity LD, Varsity Public Forum, and Worlds Debate on Friday and Saturday. Because of ongoing construction at Jesuit, we will hold Friday rounds online. Saturday rounds for all events will be in person.
We will host Varsity Congressional Debate using a schedule that holds all rounds on Saturday only and in person at Jesuit.
Individual Events will be hosted on Saturday only and in person at Jesuit. No Cross Entries allowed in IEs.
We will also host a novice scrimmage for policy only on Saturday only and in person at Jesuit.
We will provide lunch and snacks to all competitors on Saturday, cost included in entry fees. Alas, because of construction, no In and Out Burger Truck BUT plenty of great Italian food for coaches, competitors and judges! And, as usual, we will have a hospitality lounge to keep you satisfied throughout the day if you are a coach or a judge!
We plan to have Jesuit teams compete in our tournament, including elims if they advance per the TFA home court/field initiative.
Please email Tracy McFarland at tmcfarland@jesuitcp.org if you have any questions.

Judging requirements
Each school is required to provide at least 1 QUALIFIED judge per two policy teams they are entering. Because we are planning to single flight PF when possible, each school is required to provide at least 1 QUALIFIED judge per two public forum teams they are entering. Because we are planning to single flight LD, each school is required to provide at least 1 QUALIFIED judge per two Lincoln-Douglas competitors they are entering. Please note, however, if schools do not provide adequate judging, we reserve the right to flight the round. Each school is required to provide at least 1 qualified judge per 2 entries in WSD.
Each school is required to provide at least 1 qualified judge per 5 entries in Congressional Debate [if possible to provide a judge that could judge in another event other than Congress in order to make the judge useful if the field is small, would be most appreciated]. Each school is required to provide at least 1 qualified judge per 6 entries in IEs.
Please remember that providing a judge is a requirement; however, constraints in events based on numbers entered by a school may limit usage of that judge. We will not let entries off of the waitlist until school's have provided appropriate judging. All entries will be waitlisted until proper judging has been provided - if you have questions about judging or about allocation of judges across events, please feel free to email tmcfarland@jesuitcp.org
We ask that all judges put their judge philosophy on the tabroom.com if judging debate events.
Makes fee checks payable to Jesuit Dallas.
