This is a State qualifier for KRFL. 

Once again, we will offer a quals house for students trying to qualify to State in Congress as well as both JV and varsity houses for students who simply want to compete in Congress for fun.

KRFL has four spots to State in Congress this year.

The Quals House should be reserved for students who wish to compete at State in Congress. If they have already qualified in their preferred event, they should be registered for the regular JV or varsity houses. In the past, students could not double-enter in Congress and speech or debate, and I presume that will continue to be the case this year.

This tournament will be held on NSDA Campus, but we will use Zoom as our virtual judge house, cafeteria, and tab room. The Zoom invitation will be sent out via email to all registered schools.

Schedule (Tentative)

3:30 p.m. – The Zoom will open. Upon entry, students, coaches, and judges should put their name and role in the chat, so the Zoom coordinator and co-hosts can rename and place everyone in their appropriate breakout rooms.

3:45 p.m. – All competitors, coaches, and judges should be logged into the Zoom and placed in the proper breakout rooms. Coaches should have communicated drops in judges or competitors to Crystal and David.

4:00 p.m. – Session 1 begins on NSDA Campus.

5:30 p.m. – Session 1 concludes

6:00 p.m. – Super-Congress begins

7:30 p.m. – Super-Congress concludes

8:00 p.m. – Awards on Zoom if anyone is interested :)
