Description: Students select a current-events question and have 30 minutes to research, organize, and prepare an original speech answering the question. The speech should demonstrate knowledge of important political, economic, cultural, or international issues while using evidence and analysis to support a clear answer.
Time Limit: 7 minutes, 30 second grace period
