Event Description:
After selecting one topic or quotation from a group of three, students will prepare an impromptu speech. Contestants will be judged on their organization, quality of speech, fluency, movement in the speaking area, etc.
Students will be allowed to use the front and back of a 4" x 6" or smaller notecard during their speech. This notecard must be prepared during the student’s prep time.
Students will have 7 minutes to prepare and perform. This time can be divided as the student sees fit.
