East Texas District Tournament
2026 — TX/US
East Texas District Qualifier
for the 2026 National Tournament
School Judge Form
Each school must provide two judges for each day they are competing. Every judge is obligated for one round past their most successful competitor.
Your entry will not be accepted if you do not provide judges on Tabroom and have them fill out the School Judge Google Form. Each judge should complete the NSDA Accreditation Level 1: Intro to Impartial Judging as well as Level 1: Intro to Judging Speech, Debate, Congress or Big Questions (depending on what pool they are in). Good judges are the key to a good tournament. Take the time to recruit quality people that you would want judging your students.
East Texas will pay judges (except for coaches) $20 per round. Schools are responsible for recruiting and contacting these judges.
Schools are responsible for recruiting qualified judges who are at least two years out of competition. First year out judges should not be entered in the pool by a school.
One coach from every school must be available to judge for every round that their students are competing in plus one round past their most successful competitor.
Failure to follow the judging guidelines will result in students being removed from the tournament. Coaches must be available during the tournament. You will be assigned rounds.
